Rainwater Harvesting & Re-use Tanks

Rotary Project Melbourne School

Tank - Rotary, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia

This project was established by the Hampton Rotary Club as a water saving project for their local primary school.

The project was completed in April 2005 and the finalised tank holds 19813 gal.

To maximise the collection of rain water and to reduce costs the netball court was selected as the catchement area and the tank installed in an underground location and covered with earth to create a soft landscape area.
